The Waking Tree Ring · Opens on Kickstarter, November 17
Not a walking tree.
A tree that woke up.
Sterling silver that wraps the finger like bark. One marquise, held in the leaves. Three words inside the band that only you will know are there.
Twenty early rings at CA$89, from 9am ET on November 17.

The ring
Made to be touched before it is seen.
Run a fingertip along the band and you feel bark. Branches close around the finger the way roots hold the ground. Eight small stones rest in the leaves, and at the centre one marquise moissanite catches the light every time your hand moves.
Turn it over. Against your skin, engraved inside the band: THE WAKING TREE. Nobody else has to see it.

How it began
It began as a photograph.
A driftwood sculpture on a roadside near Vancouver: a tree caught mid-stride, a stick in its hand. Then a stranger with a story, a few stubborn hours, and a letter that slipped out of its name and was never put back.
If a tree can wake up and walk, you can do the thing you keep telling yourself you can't.Read the whole story →

Questions
Are these photos of the real ring?
Yes. Every ring photo on this page is the cast ring, taken in the workshop. The only render on the site is on our story page, and it is labelled as one.
What is it made of?
Sterling silver 925, with a marquise moissanite at the centre and eight small round stones in the leaves. The vermeil finishes are gold over sterling silver.
How do I know my size?
Sizes run from US 4 to 13 in half sizes. If you are between two, choose the larger; the band is shaped and sits best with a little room.
How long does it take?
Each ring is made to order. Allow about six weeks from the end of the campaign.
Why Kickstarter first?
The first rings are made in a small batch. Kickstarter lets us make exactly as many as people ask for, and lets the first twenty have them for less.
